We’re looking for a creative, reliable Content Marketing Specialist to help turn great ideas and conversations into engaging, on-brand content for our clients.
A large part of this role will focus on supporting podcast clients by repurposing episodes into social media content, short-form video, graphics, and other promotional assets. You’ll also help create presentation decks and occasionally support copywriting projects.
This is a great fit for someone who understands that good content isn’t just about making something look pretty—it’s about finding the most interesting idea, quote, story, or moment and turning it into something people actually want to consume.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work with our team to create and repurpose content for multiple client brands. Responsibilities may include:
- Turning podcast episodes into engaging social media posts and promotional content
- Identifying strong clips, hooks, quotes, and moments from podcast episodes
- Editing short-form video for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Adding captions, graphics, hooks, and other elements to short-form videos
- Designing branded social media graphics and carousels
- Creating polished, visually engaging slide decks for webinars, presentations, and speaking engagements
- Writing or refining social captions, promotional copy, headlines, and other marketing content
- Following existing brand guidelines and adapting your creative approach to different client voices and audiences
- Managing multiple client projects and meeting established deadlines
- Collaborating with our team on content ideas and ways to get more value out of existing content
What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who can be given a podcast episode, transcript, brand guide, and basic direction and confidently figure out what content should come from it.
You should have:
- Experience creating social media content for brands, businesses, or thought leaders
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- A good eye for design, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Strong writing and editing skills
- The ability to recognize a compelling hook, quote, story, or takeaway
- Experience working within established brand guidelines
- The ability to shift between different client voices and visual styles
- Strong attention to detail, especially with spelling, names, formatting, and brand consistency
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments
- Comfort receiving feedback and making revisions
Experience with Canva and CapCut is strongly preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus.
Podcasting experience is also a plus, but not required. More important is an understanding of how to take long-form content and turn it into compelling short-form content.
You’ll Probably Love This Role If…
You’re the person who listens to a 45-minute conversation and immediately thinks, “That 20 seconds would make a great Reel.”
You enjoy having a mix of creative projects instead of doing the exact same thing every day. You can make something look great, but you also care about what it says. And you understand that different clients should actually sound and look different from one another.
You’re comfortable being given direction without needing every creative decision spelled out for you.
This Role Probably Isn’t for You If…
You rely heavily on templates without adapting them to the brand, need highly detailed instructions for every assignment, or view content creation primarily as checking items off a list.
We’re looking for someone who brings creative judgment to the work—not just someone who can operate the software.
About the Role
This is a part-time, remote position with the potential to grow as our client roster and content needs expand.
Hours may vary somewhat based on client workload, but we anticipate approximately 10–20 hours per week to start, with a starting pay rate of $20/hr.
Because you’ll be working across several client brands, organization, communication, consistency, and the ability to meet deadlines are extremely important.
